Set microwave at medium. Place risotto in a microwave safe bowl. Add some white wine, broth or water. Three tablespoons per cup of risotto would be perfect. Place bowl inside microwave and cook for 4-5 minutes for it to simmer. Check at every 30 second intervals and stir to ensure the risotto is heated through evenly.

Another ideal method to reheat risotto is to use a steamer.
Take risotto out of the fridge and transfer it to a heat resistant bowl. Place it in the steamer. Take a pan which fits the steamer. Half fill it with water. Ensure that the water will not reach bottom of steamer when it boils. Place it on stove. Place the steamer on the pan. Cover the steamer and turn the stove on medium low. Do not use high heat as it might dry up the risotto. When the water boils, the steam will heat up the risotto. Check on the risotto from time to time in order to ensure the risotto is heated through evenly.
Once it is heated evenly remove bowl from the steamer. Adding wine or butter will enhance the flavor. Mix evenly and serve hot.
Always remember to place the risotto in a heat proof bowl or plate, before placing it the steamer.
Use this method only if you have enough time to spare as it is time consuming. If you are reheating a large quantity of risotto, this is a good method.

How to Reheat Risotto in Pan?
You prefer using a pan to reheat risotto? Add 2-3 tablespoons of stock or water into a pan for each cup of risotto. Place it on stove and let it heat up. When the stock is hot reduce the heat to medium and add the risotto. Stir gently allowing the liquid to get mixed in the rice making it creamy. If you are reheating a large quantity remember to keep stirring from time to time in order to prevent the bottom getting burnt.
Using your preferred stock instead water will give an added flavor to the reheated risotto. You can also pep up the taste with milk, butter, cheese or wine, but it is optional.
For crispier texture, add some oil to the pan. Sauté your risotto till it’s crispier. Add less liquid and heat up the risotto.
